The laser diode controller combines a low noise current source and a temperature control unit for thermoelectric elements. Built-in safety measures ensure the safe operation of laser diodes. A connection to an interlock system is optionally available. The included counter features an integrated coincidence logic circuit with a tuneable time window. The LED display shows the counting rates of the two input channels and the corresponding coincidences. Additionally, the three channels can be read out via a USB connection. The twin single photon detector module (quTD) employs two multimode fibre coupled Silicon avalanche photo diodes.
